hello all, long time lurker first time poster,.
last night after setting up my family's first christmas tree, my worldly wife and i started to read, from a normal rockwell christmas book no less, the story of jesus' birth, the wise men and the star guiding them to jesus.
she asked me if that was pretty accurate and i said that it was.
I always thought he was a star. LOL!

this was briefly mentioned in one of miseryloveselders threads, but i had the honor of a local needs talk pointed at me.

i've recently been involved in a thread in which one of the participants, member of this board since april last year and who has made over 1200 posts, had not been aware of the 1975 failure.

Some of best nights where I got Nothing but Praise... was a night I just was up there like a robot.
I felt like I was in the Audience sitting and just listening to the Music.
And at times Songs I HATED..... the only way I could play was to turn everything off..... good we're done yeah!

I play guitar and was in a band for a LONG time and even when I would be on stage I would find myself Dazing and then realize I had no Idea where we were in the song didn't even know if I did my lead yet.
I just played by repetition.
Then other times I would forget the chords and notes for a song I would start to panic.... and I was taught by other Musicans if this happens try to turn your mind off don't think about anything and you will find...... you are playing the song right on the money and if you start to think you can really mess up.
It is quite funny how it can work!
Ps No Drugs or Booze..... you can't play that way!!!!
